Our team of line cooks are the heart of our business, referred to as the Heart of the House (HOH). This role involves preparing and cooking meats, vegetables, and other hot food products, as well as determining the portion of food products prior to cooking. We train our line cooks to ensure final plate preparation aligns with Phil’s standards, which includes plating and garnishing cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates. Cooks are considered an integral part of the customer service experience and participate in the Tip Pool.
