About The Position

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of hotel culinary or restaurant line cook experience required
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
• Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Current Food Handler Certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipe and ensure portion, quality and presentation standards are consistently met
• Date all food containers, consistently use FIFO method, make sure all perishables are properly stored and note any out of stock items or possible shortages
• Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation for line set up
• Consistently practice sanitation procedures to refrain from cross contamination, maintain cleanliness and sanitization of work station and kitchen equipment
