Line Cook / Mental Health Facility - FT
About The Position
We are Harmony Hills Behavioral Health (HHBH), a longstanding residential treatment facility serving adults with primary mental health disorders, in central Florida. We are in Altoona, FL, less than one hour North of Orlando. Our serene, rural setting allows guests to heal away from the stresses of everyday life. Through both evidence-based and holistic treatment therapies, our guests heal in mind, body, and spirit. Come join us as we make a positive difference in the lives of others! We seek an experienced Line Cook to join our team! The primary responsibility of the Line Cook is to prepare meals and to serve our guests. The Line Cook will perform food preparation duties, such as preparing fruit and vegetables. This role works within a team to maintain food service equipment and follows health department health and safety guidelines. This position requires excellent punctuality and reliability. The Culinary Program is viewed as a key component to the success of treatment while at HHBH.
Requirements
- Minimum of (1) years of experience as a Line Cook in a clinical environment or mental health facility.
- Able to work the schedule as above noted.
- Able to pass a AHCA level 2 background check.
- H.S. Diploma
- Culinary in Clinical Environment 1 year (Required)
- Ability to Commute: Altoona, FL 32702 (Required)
