Line Cooks are critical to delivering an exceptional guest experience at Chompie’s.

Requirements

  • 16+ years of age with reliable transportation, and available to work flexible shifts to include mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a positive attitude.
  • Acquiring and maintaining a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Meat-slicing experience
  • 2-5 years working in a high-volume restaurant

Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge of all menu items in any or all station(s) on the line, including, but not limited to starters, entrees, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and all accompanying sides.
  • Able to efficiently cook food items adhering to product recipes, portion control and specifications upholding Company standards for food product quality.
  • Works professionally and with a sense of urgency managing ticket times, understanding the positive impact it has on our guest experiences.
  • Works collaboratively and maintains positive relationships with all coworkers, working closely with the other prep cooks and the Kitchen Manager to protect the integrity of the Company’s recipes.
  • Adhere to our standards of health and safety guidelines, including acquiring and maintaining a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification, maintain a clean apron, proper hand washing procedures, temperature danger zone, etc.
  • Must be able to complete all HACCP requirements including Heating & Cooling Logs.   • Maintains good hygiene and frequent washing of hands to maintain a safe environment for guests and coworkers.
  • Be prepared for each shift on time according to scheduled shifts and maintain a regular and predictive attendance record and arrive in proper uniform maintaining a neat and kept appearance conveying a professional image for our guests.
