About The Position

Join the culinary team at Crooked Tree Tavern, where mountain views meet fresh, flavorful dining! As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience through high-quality food preparation, precise execution, and teamwork in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by executing dishes with precision, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and supporting both kitchen and dish room operations as needed. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, efficient ticket times, and consistent presentation—while adapting to the dynamic demands of a seasonal resort environment. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional during peak service periods. If you’re passionate about cooking, enjoy working in a collaborative kitchen, and are excited by the challenge of a busy mountain restaurant, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills while being part of a supportive and hardworking team. This is a full-time, benefitted, year-round position

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum 2-years culinary experience or formal culinary education
  • 1 year leadership experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be available to work evening, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation for winter driving conditions
  • Current Oregon Food Handlers Card or Serve Safe Certification
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
