About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Lead Cook, while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. We are looking for a candidate with flexible availability to ensure continuity of coverage for the for both the restaurant and banquet outlets.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Close the kitchen ensuring all tasks are completed.
  • Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Report any out-of-stock items to the Food and Beverage Manager promptly.
  • Prepare all breakfast and dinner menus as directed.
  • Prepare employee lunch daily
  • Review banquet event orders and prepare dishes for banquet functions
  • Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ensure all dining room associates follow proper ordering and pick-up procedures.
  • Perform dinner set-up duties according to the Prep List schedule.
  • Maintain health and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
