About The Position

Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Waimanalo is hiring for the position of line cook. We seek friendly, well-organized, and energetic individuals to join our kitchen crew. 36 - 40 hrs. a week. full time/part time $16/hr.+ tips (avg $4- $6/hr. added to paycheck) = $20 - $22/hr. We offer medical with Kaiser Permanente or HMSA (paid by employer)

Requirements

• Non-slip shoes
• Prompt attendance is a must!!!
• Flexible availability, weekends, and holidays
• Must be very clean, well organized, and able to move from station to station efficiently
• Ability to work in a team in a very fast-paced environment

• Basic knife skills

Responsibilities

• Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
• General cleaning and facilities maintenance
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time
• Adhere to the chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
• Food safety and sanitation
