Essential Duties & Expectations: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, basic knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced quick service setting. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. A minimum of 1-year experience in the food industry, including serving, or kitchen operations, is highly valued. Qualified candidates must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays. Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food service environment
  • Basic knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Must be available during peak business hours (Nights, Weekend, and Holidays).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact with the public and provide high level of customer service
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for a long period of time
  • Ability to comply with attendance and dress code policy
  • Ability to operate various concession and kitchen equipment. Please check with the Theatre Manager for specific types of equipment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning
  • Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary requirements and customer preferences
  • Collaborate with all staff members to ensure timely delivery of dishes and uphold quality standards
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Follow all health department regulations related to food handling and safety
