About The Position

Position Overview – Line Cook As a Line Cook, the selected candidate will play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents. Under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, they’ll ensure each dish is prepared with care, consistency, and attention to detail. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience in hot and cold food preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school degree (preferred but not required)
  • Previous experience in healthcare or senior living (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in line with daily menus and recipes
  • Assist in food prep and planning for upcoming meals
  • Plate dishes with an eye for presentation and portion control
  • Support kitchen sanitation and safety standards at all times
  • Monitor food temperatures and maintain accurate logs
  • Assist in preparing meals for special functions and events
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, health, and safety regulations
