Line Cook
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated line cook to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. From independent living to a full continuum of care, residents can always expect a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests. Line cook position details: We are hiring a Full Time (37.5 hours/week) line cook. Shifts vary, with closing time between 7:30pm and 8pm each night. Please note that this position is eligible for a $2,000 recruitment and retention bonus.
Requirements
- Must possess a culinary certificate or a degree from an accredited source.
- Must have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with in a team environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
- Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
- Prepare and serve alternative menu items as needed.
- Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, etc.
- Assist in serving meals, as necessary, and on a timely basis.
