About The Position

Currahee Club is seeking a Line Cook! Qualified candidates will thrive in a
hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

General Purpose:
Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest
consumption and enjoyment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associate may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for the equipment the associate may use are in English).

Responsibilities

• Prepare sufficient quantities of food product in accordance to production plan or forecast needs
• Utilize whole food products eliminating any waste
• Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
• Alert chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
• Requisition inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production
• Ensure proper storage of food items; wrap, date, and rotate food items
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as required
