About The Position

Lakewood Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery located in Garland, Texas. We are looking for a talented and passionate weekend and weekday Line Cook to join our team! The Line Cook will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure a fabulous guest experience by ensuring all food meets or exceeds our guests’ expectations. The ideal candidate will embody an attitude and passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 1 year line cook experience
• 1-3 years customer service experience
• Food Handler certified
• Positive attitude
• Self-Motivated

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and consistency of all food preparation, while being mindful of speed and presentation
• Plate quickly and accurately
• Move swiftly from one dish to the next
• Ensure the final plate matches what the guest ordered
• Creativity to come up with new menu ideas
• Experience with sauce preparation
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Daily commitment to time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Customer service: deliver dishes to brewery customers and offer additional add-on items
