About The Position

Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in providing quality dining experiences for our lodge guests, golfers, and park visitors. The Line Cook will prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with lodge recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards
  • Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment, grills, and cooking utensils
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages or needs to leadership
  • Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning duties, and closing procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary and service teams to ensure timely service for guests and events
