This is a part time position Requirements Benefits Include: Rapid Advancement Free Shift Meal Medical, Dental, Vision Flexible Schedule Competitive Pay Relaxed Atmosphere Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Taking and creating orders with a friendly and professional attitude, respecting people and place under stress Preparing food made to order to ensure serving hot/fresh quality products with the attention to detail that ensures accuracy and timeliness Must be agile and willing to work all kitchen duties and functions including but not limited to: dishwashing, prep, cold station, fry, grill, sauté, cleaning, packaging and presentation Meeting or exceeding speed of service standards Keep the kitchen counters/ floors/ back line /smallwares/ coolers clean following proper hygiene standards Always follow all food and personal safety procedures including personal safety equipment (PSE) Replenish and rotate supplies every shift as needed Arrive for work on time on scheduled workdays Be dressed and ready to work, ensuring hygiene and appearance adheres to the Brand’s uniform guidelines Utilize operating equipment as assigned, and only for the designated purpose of the equipment Core Abilities: · Verbal Communication- Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers using the English language · Math- Ability to do basic addition and subtraction · Teamwork- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team whether team is present or not · Motivated- Able to work in an environment under minimal supervision and focus on given tasks Physical Requirements: · Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with company policies and procedures, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. · Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance · Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs · Must maintain balance to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day in environment with hazards including slippery (wet or icy) floors, sharp equipment, and waist level kitchen hazards including fryers and stove tops · Ability to execute frequent repetitive physical motions such as walking, bending, reaching above head, reaching at waist level, reaching below waist, button pushing, for up to 8 hours a day Must be able to work in high stress, high temperature environments for up to 8 hours a day Beechwood Tavern is an equal opportunity employer.
