Responsibilities Include: Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene regulations per Virginia Department of Health, James City County, and other agencies Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products Perform additional tasks as may be assigned
