Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook (1–2 years preferred)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, casual dining or quick-service environment is a plus
  • Ability to work across multiple stations, including grill, fryer, and sauté
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with preparing and assembling menu items to order quickly and consistently
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail
  • A solid work ethic with a passion for food and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy kitchen
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Team player who communicates well with fellow cooks, servers, and management
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the fun, energetic atmosphere of Max Burger

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to the Max Burger menu specifications, focusing on gourmet burgers and hand-cut fries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist with daily prep tasks, including chopping, prepping ingredients, and organizing the kitchen
  • Ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment where every team member plays a part in the restaurant’s success
