About The Position

Line cook will set up workstations, prepare food items, stock inventory, and maintain cleanliness. They should possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements

  • Food Handler Card
  • Kitchen Experience
  • Safely cook with gas and/or electric stovetops
  • Stand, climb, stoop, or kneel
  • Ability to lift/move objects up to 40 pounds
  • Effective communicate with coworkers
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in high volume kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Korean food preparation

Responsibilities

  • Setup stations
  • Restock supplies
  • Prepare variety of foods including meat, seafood, vegetables, stews, and cold items
  • Prepare sauces and garnishes
  • Date, label and store items properly
  • Temp check items
  • Clean and sanitize area, equipment, and tools
  • Communicate items shortages
  • Other assigned duties
