Requirements

  • 1–2 years of cooking experience preferred
  • Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in managing and upholding a safe working environment
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Must be dependable
  • Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
  • Must be able to take direction

Responsibilities

  • Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
  • Assist Food and Beverage Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory
  • Understand how to properly use and maintain the equipment
  • Perform necessary clean-up, sanitation, equipment cleaning and maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager
  • Assist with product receiving and/or storage of products
  • Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
