About The Position

The Line Cook at The Foundry Room is responsible for executing high-quality dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a cook who takes pride in their craft, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands that every plate contributes to the overall guest experience.

Requirements

Previous line cook or kitchen experience in a full-service or elevated dining environment preferred.
Working knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain consistency and quality during all service periods.
Set up and break down assigned stations efficiently before and after service.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
Communicate clearly with chefs and kitchen teammates to support smooth service flow.
Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to kitchen leadership.
Assist with prep work, stocking, and organization to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
Support other kitchen stations as needed during service.
Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
