About The Position

The Cook at Hilton Garden Inn Camden is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that meet Hilton brand standards while ensuring kitchen safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality hospitality and excellent dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens.
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to execute a variety of cooking techniques.
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality and guest service.
  • Professional appearance and well-maintained presentation.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Hilton, kitchen, and recipe standards to maintain food quality and consistency.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with food preparation, ingredient portioning, and plating.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Support catering functions as needed (catering experience preferred but not required).
  • Work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
