About The Position

As a Line Cook in our Food & Beverage department, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen, you will execute dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintain a clean and organized work station, and support overall kitchen efficiency and safety. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking, takes pride in consistency and quality, and thrives in a collaborative environment where timing, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume food service environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
  • Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, and station guides in English
  • Strong sense of timing, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [X] lbs for extended periods during a shift
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback from chefs and supervisors
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station(s) with all required products, tools, and equipment for service
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures (including FIFO) to ensure freshness and minimize waste
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
  • Work closely with other line cooks, prep cooks, and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and shared kitchen areas throughout service and during closing duties
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper temperatures and allergen awareness
  • Assist with prep work, including chopping, marinating, batching, and portioning ingredients as needed for service
  • Support inventory control by communicating low stock levels, overproduction, or product quality issues to supervisors
  • Participate in daily line checks, tastings, and team meetings to ensure readiness and consistency of menu items
  • Follow opening and closing procedures, including labeling, dating, and properly storing all food products
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient kitchen culture by communicating clearly and helping teammates during busy periods
