About The Position

The Line Cook will assist in the preparation of ingredients, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the overall culinary operations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and chop ingredients for meals according to recipes and menu planning.
  • Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, soups, and other components as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
  • Organize and store food items in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation for catering events or restaurant service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Participate in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients.
