About The Position

Tacocina is a taco stand from Union Square Hospitality Group, located in Williamsburg’s Domino Park. We serve tacos, margaritas, and more in a laid-back, lively setting overlooking the East River. Who you are: The Line Cook is a warm, friendly, and highly motivated employee that delivers the highest level of hospitality and service to our guests. Line cooks are expected to work primarily in the back-of-house stations. This is a seasonal position beginning at the time of hire until Fall 2026, with the opportunity to transfer within the company based on performance.

Requirements

1+ years of previous food service and/or customer service experience
Knowledge of fast casual-style food, service, and beverage programs
Experience using POS systems
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Knowledge of DOH policies and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities

Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
Provide an outstanding culinary and guest experience
Maintain facilities in compliance with DOH standards
Support the back-of-house functions, including but not limited to prep, cooking, and support preparing dishes from the menu
