About The Position

This position is for a Line Cook at the Marriott Quincy, working in the hotel restaurant, Hull & Mason. The role involves working in a fast-paced team environment to prepare menu items. Key responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and cleaning various kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, stoves, and flat top grills, ensuring consistent food quality by following recipe cards and guest requests.

Requirements

  • Proper knife handling skills
  • Understanding of food safety/sanitation
  • Understanding of various cooking methods in order to execute menu items
  • Ability to speak and read English to read order tickets and communicate with restaurant staff
  • Valid ServSafe (Food Handler) certification prior to your first day of work

  • Prior line cook experience

Responsibilities
