Provide assistance in the food preparation of meals in back-of-house or front-of-house operations Interact with customers and prepare customized, made-to-order menu items in a high-volume environment Prep food throughout shift and assist all culinary staff in completing prep sheet Set up/close down open line workstation for service Follow ServSafe food handling guidelines and maintain a clean work station QUALIFICATIONS At least two years of experience in short order food preparation and/or volume cooking; preferred qualifications include culinary school training and ServSafe certification from the State of Minnesota Successful completion of a criminal background check is a condition of employment for all Dining Services positions This position designated as Emergency Essential. Emergency Essential employees are expected to remain at work if campus closes during their regular work schedule or to report to work if the campus closing announcement is made before their regular work schedule begins.
