About The Position

TakoSushi is now hiring for Line and Prep Cooks in Columbia, SC! Responsibilities: Skillfully cook and prepare a diverse range of dishes according to our recipes and specifications. Strictly adhere to all kitchen safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with plate presentation guidelines and timely delivery of food orders. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen. Utilize recipe cards and measuring tools accurately for precise ingredient measurements. Stock and break down sections at the beginning and end of shifts. Monitor and maintain proper rotation of prepped and batched food items to minimize waste. Safely operate kitchen equipment and machinery. Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned or requested. Qualifications: Preference for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of Food and Health codes. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
