New Albany Country Club is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our professional culinary team. Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a Line Cook in a professional kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or private club
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of classic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, professional, and passionate about food
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
  • Consistent full-time scheduling

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school training is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to Club recipes, standards, and plating specifications
  • Maintain consistency and quality in all dishes produced during service
  • Work efficiently on a designated station during high-volume service
  • Assist with daily prep, mise en place, and station organization
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Support the culinary team with menu execution, specials, and banquet production
  • Assist with training and mentoring culinary interns as needed
  • Communicate clearly with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient service
