About The Position
Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to planned menus and dietary requirements Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and sanitation Assist with food storage, inventory, and support special functions Collaborate with the dining services team to ensure quality and customer-focused service Adapt to changing needs while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years or older to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required)
- 1-3 years of line cooking and preparation duties (required)
Nice To Haves
- Two years of food service experience in a hospital or long-term care setting (preferred)
- Experience in both institutional cooking and fine dining (preferred)
