About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote a positive interaction and experience with outside dining guests. Working with Food Service Staff to prepare food following standard company recipes and menus. Adhere to food portioning standards established by company. Ensure availability of supplies and foods and maintain order lists. Allow adequate time for food preparation. Adhere to proper food preparation and handling techniques. Store food properly and safely by marking with dates and item name. Report any necessary equipment repair or maintenance needed to manager. Plan food production to coordinate with busy meal serving hours. Maintain food preserving the quality, temperature, and appealing appearance. Keep kitchen, food storage areas and coolers neat and clean at all times. Clean and maintain equipment and utensils used in food preparation Complete food temperature checks before service. Check and maintain correct temperatures of coolers and freezers. Comply with sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • Skilled in providing outstanding customer service.
  • Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
  • Prior training or experience in food service industry required.
  • Experience with deep fryer, grill, meat slicer, smoker, stove & oven.
  • High energy and stamina required.
  • Applicants must be at least age 18.
  • Hours may be late afternoon and evenings, including weekends & holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Serv-Safe and Food Allergens certifications preferred.
