About The Position

Job Summary: The Lead Line Cook plays a vital role in our kitchen, responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes while supervising other kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Oversee and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
  • Ensure all dishes are plated and presented to the restaurant’s high standards before they leave the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations, and enforcing strict hygiene practices.
  • Address any kitchen issues or concerns promptly to maintain smooth operations.
  • Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by working well with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
