This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional who values quality, consistency, and teamwork, and who is committed to delivering exceptional food while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in a professional restaurant or comparable high-volume kitchen environment, or an equivalent combination of culinary school training and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to travel to and from assigned work locations using reliable transportation is required.
  • Must have and maintain own knives appropriate for professional kitchen use.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Team-oriented, and a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations.
  • Assist with prep work, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and stocking stations.
  • Execute service efficiently during peak meal periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Properly store food items & label products.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
  • Report equipment issues, food quality concerns, or safety hazards to kitchen leadership.
