About The Position

The Line Cook Seasonal position is integral to delivering exceptional culinary experiences during peak seasons in a fast-paced kitchen environment of our new building The Mill. This role focuses on preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction. The seasonal nature of the position requires adaptability to fluctuating workloads and the ability to maintain high performance during busy periods. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with kitchen staff to manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the overall success of the food service operation by supporting efficient kitchen workflow and delivering high-quality dishes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during the seasonal period.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school training or certification.
  • Experience working in a high-volume or seasonal food service environment.
  • Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations throughout shifts.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management to prevent shortages during peak times.
  • Support the kitchen team in managing high-volume orders during seasonal demand spikes.
