About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during evening hours.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school training or certification.
  • Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to assist with menu development and suggest improvements.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines during the evening shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes to minimize waste and maintain consistency.
  • Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock levels and properly storing ingredients.
