About The Position

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Cook. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with the company’s specifications and standards. This role involves effective interaction with the public and team members, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with health regulations. The Cook will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a smoothly run operation and assist in all areas of food production as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years experience as a cook’s apprentice in a large, full service hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in accordance with established recipes.
• Interact effectively with the public and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation standards.
• Follow all recipes and control procedures.
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
• Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Keep a clean and sanitary area at all times.
• Fulfill any reasonable request made by management.
