About The Position

Reunion Resort is seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook (Level 2) to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes in a fast-paced resort environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate has solid cooking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during peak service hours.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 2+ years of cooking experience in a club or resort setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Culinary certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast and lunch service according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies prior to service.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout the shift.
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures (HACCP guidelines).
  • Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation.
  • Monitor food quality and report any inconsistencies to the Chef.
  • Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Properly store food items and label according to resort standards.
