About The Position

Pizza Lucé is seeking a hardworking, self-starting, and detail-oriented team player to join their high-volume kitchen team as a cook. This role is considered the "beating heart" of Pizza Lucé, driving the team to serve Minnesota's best pizza. Pizza Lucé has been serving pizza, hoagies, salads, vegan, and gluten-free items in Minnesota since 1993, starting as a small pizzeria and growing to nine full-service restaurants in the Twin Cities and Duluth. Requirements

Must have 1+ years of cooking experience.
Must be 18 or older.
Must know and follow food storage and safety/sanitation protocols.
Must be able to thrive in a HIGH volume, fast-paced kitchen.
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work on a team.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

Assemble menu items.
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized cooking area.
Ensure that all recipe specifications are followed.
Adhere to proper food production techniques.
Give special attention to orders with specific allergies, vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free requests to avoid cross-contamination.
Perform duties associated with each area of the kitchen, as needed: prep food, wash dishes, cook on sauté, pizza, or hoagie line, and assist in the production of large party items and/or special events.
Execute job functions quickly and efficiently.
Ensure proper rotation, labeling, initialing, and dating of food and supplies.
