About The Position

The Line Cook at Pearl River Resort is responsible for preparing and cooking food in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. This role requires adherence to safety and health regulations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Line Cook will work across various cooking stations and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or above.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a culinary operation such as a full-service hotel or restaurant required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be Serv-Safe certified or become certified within thirty (30) days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and understand food orders.
  • Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in accordance with established recipes.
  • Work at various cooking stations throughout the property and operate all kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary area in compliance with State Health Regulations.
  • Follow all recipes and control procedures.
  • Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
  • Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
