About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook 3 to join our culinary team at The Seagate. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong teamwork, and is eager to grow within the culinary field.

Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and health regulations
  • Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes with consistency and accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds and handle kitchen equipment safely

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, specifications, and quality standards
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
  • Set up and maintain assigned station with proper ingredients and equipment
  • Ensure all food is properly labeled, dated, and stored following FIFO guidelines
  • Monitor food quality and ensure appropriate quantities are prepared
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare menu items
  • Communicate effectively with team members and request assistance when needed
  • Support line staff and assist with additional tasks as directed by the Chef on duty
  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed
  • Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong personal hygiene standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
