Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Regular driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Must pass the written part of the exam within four months and obtain Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsement within six months to continue employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience with light, medium, or heavy duty equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completes a variety of routine, semi-skilled, and manual tasks in the completion of wastewater collection system cleaning and inspection.
  • Works on an assigned crew providing assistance and support for routine labor tasks, such as pulling hoses, setting up traffic control for work sites and flagging, and removing debris from sewer lines.
  • Prepares materials and tools, cleans holding tanks, sewer lines, and other areas using high pressure hoses, saw blades, and other equipment.
  • Takes inventory of materials on a work truck.
  • Operates a limited variety of light duty equipment and tools.
  • Follows established safety protocols for completion of safety sensitive work, such as wearing required personal protective equipment and following guidelines and directions for confined space entries.
