Under general supervision, completes a variety of routine, semi-skilled, and manual tasks in the completion of wastewater collection system cleaning and inspection; works on an assigned crew providing assistance and support for routine labor tasks, such as pulling hoses, setting up traffic control for work sites and flagging, removing debris from sewer lines, preparing materials and tools, cleaning holding tanks, sewer lines, and other areas using high pressure hoses, saw blades, and other equipment, and taking inventory of materials on a work truck. Operates a limited variety of light duty equipment, and tools; follows established safety protocols for completion of safety sensitive work, such as wearing required personal protective equipment and following guidelines and directions for confined space entries.
