About The Position

The Pictsweet Company in Monte Alto Texas is looking for experienced line attendants to join our team. Line attendants will p repare machinery and equipment to begin production/processing operations.

Requirements

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum six (6) months experience working in an industrial setting
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules/signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
OTHER Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers
Ability to obtain OSHA Forklift Certification
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to work weekends, including holidays
Ability to work rotating shifts, if necessary
Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Sets up blancher temperature sets blancher speed, sets blancher hood in place, turns on blancher belts as well as in-feed and its charge belts
Turns on all belts and adjust belt speeds
Sets bins and other receptacles as required to catch product
Fills and monitors wash and cooling tanks with water
Turn on and monitors cooling sprays, chlorine sprays and flume water
Monitors water usage; adjusts and reduces flow of water.
At shift end, secures all water, steam lines and shuts off all belts and blancher
Operates forklift if needed
Maintains work areas clean.
Performs other duties as assigned
