This is accomplished by consistently, expediently, and safely preparing and plating food items while maintaining an impeccably clean and sanitary kitchen.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a kitchen environment
  • Skilled in operating and handling kitchen equipment
  • Comfortable engaging with the public
  • Passionate about serving others
  • Able to communicate in English effectively during guest interactions
  • Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
  • All job applicants for duties to be performed at Casa must be Colorado residents at the time of application.
  • Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
  • Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs and inclines/declines
  • Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
  • Able to work in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure under pressure while withstanding the temperatures typical of a fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen setting

Responsibilities

  • Follow established steps of service to assemble, portion, and plate dishes according to restaurant standards
  • Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized work area throughout the entire shift
  • Prepare food ingredients and menu items according to Casa Bonita recipe specifications and standards
  • Monitor and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are complete and correct
  • Assist in handling special requests and modifications while maintaining consistency
  • Clean kitchen appliances and machines at the end of each shift
  • Take out the trash and complete daily/weekly cleaning tasks
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by any manager or VP of Operations based on business needs
