About the position

The Line Assembly I position involves performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce component trays containing surgical and medical products. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

  • Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
  • Counts components that belong in trays for accuracy.
  • Wraps component tray with linen, table cover, CSR wrap.
  • Works on the line where tasks vary as different models of the same article move along the line.
  • Works at different work stations as production needs require.
  • Maintains clean production areas.
  • Maintains production equipment and machinery.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to read and understand information presented in writing in English.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction).
  • Standing and/or walking for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
  • Repetitive hand movement.
  • Lifting weights varying from 5 pounds up to 25 pounds, and in some cases higher than 25 pounds.
  • Working in a closed-sterile environment.
  • Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on a regular basis up to 6 days a week.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous production/manufacturing experience.
