Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required
Graduates of an accredited post-secondary Radiologic Technology program required
Oregon LXMO or ARRT (R). Certifications are required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a medical office setting, 1 year or more preferred.
Urgent Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform and assist patients within the X-ray tech scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed provider
Perform radiographic exams by prepping patients, explaining the procedure, and practicing safety standards to ensure radiation protection and safe operation of the X-ray machine
Ensure up-to-date EMR patient records, and provide instructions as directed by the provider
Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
Maintain clear documentation of all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)
