Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists. Core Focus We do our individual and collective best to serve each other and our patients through conservative care in musculoskeletal health! The Opportunity Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a highly motivated Limited Scope X-Ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist. This position includes both XR and Medical Assistant responsibilities while being an integral part of a collaborative, patient-centered team. We welcome full-scope or limited-scope applicants. Requirements
- Tennessee X-Ray Operator License (Required)
- ARRT Certification
Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Position equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance per specifications.
- Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and safety standards.
- Provide overall support for providers and daily clinic operations.
- Assist with scheduling, answering multi-line phones, and processing referrals.
- Administer injections, apply bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment.
