About The Position

The Assistant LMRT Program Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery and administration of the Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program. This position is integral to maintaining academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and fostering a supportive learning environment for both students and faculty. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the Assistant LMRT Program Director collaborates with instructional staff to uphold curriculum standards, supervises faculty performance, and supports the overall operational efficiency of the program. Key highlights of this role include: Providing leadership in the implementation and maintenance of curriculum standards to meet academic and accreditation requirements. Overseeing instructional delivery in both face-to-face and online learning environments to ensure consistency and quality. Supporting faculty development through training, evaluation, and feedback to enhance instructional effectiveness. Monitoring student performance, attendance, and engagement to foster academic success and compliance with program objectives. Collaborating with the Program Director and Director of Education on strategic initiatives to optimize program outcomes. The Assistant LMRT Program Director is a critical member of the academic team, contributing to the professional growth of faculty, the academic success of students, and the overall operational excellence of the LMRT program.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or Radiologic Technologist (RT).
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical work experience, teaching experience, or a combination of both in the field of Radiology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Orient and train instructional staff to deliver blended learning programs effectively, including both online and face-to-face instruction.
  • Implement and maintain curriculum standards as directed by the Program Director, ensuring alignment with academic and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide daily oversight of instructional delivery, ensuring compliance with curriculum objectives and quality benchmarks.
  • Supervise and evaluate instructional staff in both face-to-face and online courses, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Monitor student attendance, grade tracking, and intervention programs to support academic success.
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations of faculty performance and escalate findings to the Program Director for review.
  • Collect and analyze student and faculty evaluation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on student performance, faculty effectiveness, and compliance for Program Director review.
  • Assist with class scheduling and preparation for advisory board meetings, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Support faculty adherence to TWC, federal, and accrediting standards, including documentation and data collection for accreditation purposes.
  • Collaborate on the recruitment, development, and selection of qualified faculty, ensuring compliance with credentialing requirements.
  • Provide direct academic advising to students and escalate significant concerns to the Program Director.
  • Review and monitor instructor lesson plans to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives.
  • Work closely with the externship coordinator to oversee site development and student progress.
  • Assist in maintaining acceptable licensure participation and pass rates for program graduates.
  • Conduct new student blended orientation sessions and participate in the enrollment process as needed.
  • Adhere to academic policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Cover classes as needed and support administrative functions to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Director of Education.
