About The Position

The Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist works under general supervision to perform laboratory and x-ray procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment. Performs patient care and reception tasks under general supervision with minimal independent judgment. Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts from 7AM to 7PM. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
MUST have LLRT Certification

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory and laboratory equipment and x-ray supplies and equipment for daily operation (e.g., turn on equipment and computer, retrieve necessary chemicals, reagents, etc.)
Inventory lab and x-ray supplies to ensure sufficient amounts are available
Examine expiration dates of chemicals and replace expired products
Perform shut-down procedures on equipment at end of day (e.g., general cleaning, flushing lines, disassembly, return
