About The Position

Perspectives Counseling Centers, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Limited License Psychologist LLP to join our team in Novi, MI. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. As a Limited License Psychologist (LLP) / Psychologist (MA/MS), you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. This position is in an outpatient clinical setting where you will interact directly with patients. You will quickly build rapport with patients and coordinate care with internal and external providers by forming excellent provider-patient alliances.

Requirements

• Master's (MA/MS) degree in Psychology
• Active and unrestricted LLP licensure in Michigan
• Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position

Nice To Haves

• Experience with children or adolescents
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results
• Establish treatment plans goals with measurable steps for client
• Provide individual, group and family therapy
• Lead crisis intervention methods and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavioral intervention plans
• Complete clinical documentation according to policy
