Requirements

• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Weaver Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cycle assigned weaving machines, repair stops to keep looms running.
• Inspect fabric for defects and take necessary corrective action.
• Follow all established Plant Safety rules.
• Receive work area layout and instructions from Supervisor/Lead Person.
• Correct all machine stops, flag all mechanical malfunctions.
• Clean filling feeders and reeds of weaving machines using the proper PPE.
• Perform preventative weaving to reduce stops.
• Make inspection cycles/initials cloth with green fabric pen; record findings on the Cloth Inspection Form.
• Perform work in the most efficient manner to ensure the highest possible quality.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of materials in assigned work area.
• Keep management informed of problems that are affecting the quality and/or performance of the Weaving area.
• Perform all other duties as directed by management.
• Complete Weaver DTM Checklist Daily.
