About The Position
As a Lightweight Concrete Superintendent at Crown Capital Management LLC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily construction activities related to lightweight concrete installation. This position requires a dynamic leader who is not only experienced in managing teams but also possesses a strong understanding of concrete finishing and forming. You will be responsible for supervising employees and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver top-quality results, manage costs and schedules effectively, and maintain a productive work environment. In this role, you will assess the workforce, materials, tools, and equipment needs for each project, ensuring that all components are in place to support project requirements. You will review cost reports and projections, taking necessary actions to manage job costs within the contract budget. Additionally, you will assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. Daily communication with the Project Manager will be essential to provide updates and impacts to the schedule. Your responsibilities will also include implementing a quality control program for lightweight concrete, ensuring that all pre-pour checklists are completed prior to the pour. You will supervise daily activities related to lightweight concrete, including crane operations, layout and controls, placement, and finishing best practices. Safety management is a critical aspect of this role, where you will conduct weekly toolbox safety meetings, inspect job sites for compliance, and maintain incident reports as necessary.
